virtual Holy Fire Reiki 2 course

After a successful Holy Fire Reiki 1 class, I am holding a remote Holy Fire Reiki 2 class. The social, emotional, spiritual and health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has now lasted almost a year. As 'in person' Reik classes can no longer take place, virtual classes with Holy Fire Reiki, are more important than ever. In 2018 I sensed the need for a modality for accelerated healing. This led me to Jerusalem to study Holy Fire Reiki Mastery with William Lee Rand. As you can read here Usui Holy Fire Reiki differs from Usui Reiki in that during the placement or attunement process Reiki energy interacts directly with each individual student. Rather than, being 'funnelled' or directed through the Reiki Teaching Master.
What this now means is that I can teach Usui Holy Fire Reiki classes distantly using a platform such as Zoom allowing an interactive and meaningful experience. This model has been piloted and this is what the Reiki student said about her experience:
'It is a big advantage being able to view learning materials including power points and videos and Susan on screen at the same time as well as being able to discuss or ask questions too. It really is a fun way to learn and you really feel connected with who you are learning from. Susan is a great teacher and using Zoom you get a lot of the same benefits that you would if you were in the same room. I would highly recommend this as an effective and enjoyable way to learn Reiki 1' (Jane)
Jane has been using Reiki daily for self treatments and has been delighted by the powerful yet gentle effects of Reiki.

Pilot: Virtual Usui Holy Fire Reiki I Class
March 2020
Over the period of around 4 weeks - I worked on a pilot Holy Fire Reiki class with a friend and colleague. We are both lecturers and open to new ways of teaching and working. She wanted to learn Reiki - we were in early lockdown...
We used an adapted class schedule with meditations, PowerPoint slides, Holy Fire Placements and hands on Reiki healing experience.

The lovely people organizing the conference for Gaelic speaking teachers - they Googled mindfulness and Gaelic and found Cearcall! HEADSPACE, our collaborative zone, will run throughout lunchtime, promoting information and support from local and national organisations.
The event will also formally launch the CAMHS Innovation Fund Toolkit for Practitioners, consult and network to further development the Tayside Children and Young People’s Mental Health Strategy and promote effective practice in the area of children and young people’s emotional health and wellbeing. Reiki is an ancient healing modality, we would now describe as energetic, hands on healing. When you come to a Reiki Level I Course you learn first, to heal yourself, then others. You would then be qualified to become a Reiki practitioner, while enhancing any other therapy you already practice. Reiki is now an accepted part of palliative care in the NHS and is an evidence based modality.
Susan has practiced Reiki since 1995 and has been a Reiki Teaching Master since 2004. She has a First Class Degree in Behavioural Science and has been an academic, teaching Social Sciences for 23 years. Susan also teaches Mindfulness courses & offers wellbeing workshops in education & the corporate sectors.
